Claude China User Detection FAQ

This website cannot see a Claude flag, account record, or Anthropic decision. It only estimates whether browser-visible settings resemble a mainland China environment. Treat the result as an explanation of local signals, not confirmation of an account label.

SignalCheck has no access to Claude's internal systems and does not claim that Anthropic uses this scoring model. Timezone, language, fonts, and browser identifiers are ordinary web-visible clues; a platform may use different data and policies.

No. It cannot read account status, login history, network routing, billing country, or enforcement rules. A score must never be interpreted as a prediction that an account will be blocked.

The browser detector does not request or score an IP address. The separate /api/check endpoint, only when called, reads the country code Cloudflare or Vercel derives from the request and Accept-Language; it does not return a raw IP or affect the browser score. Google Analytics may separately receive standard visit information, but custom analytics events contain no scan score or evidence.

No detector signal, score, matched item, or exported result is uploaded by the browser checker. Detection, text copying, and image generation operate in browser memory. An explicit /api/check request sends ordinary request headers through Cloudflare/Vercel but remains independent from those browser results.

Browser profiles can have different language lists, privacy protections, fonts, user-agent details, and client hints. Operating-system updates and browser privacy changes can also make a signal unavailable.

Unavailable means the browser did not expose enough information to make that check reliably. It receives zero points. The tool does not convert missing data into a positive match.

UTC+8 is shared by multiple countries and regions. The named IANA timezone is more specific, so the generic offset contributes only four points and cannot create a high score by itself.

A VPN does not directly change the local browser settings this detector reads. Private browsing may reduce some APIs, while timezone, language, locale, and installed fonts can remain unchanged. The tool does not inspect VPN status.

A high score means several browser-visible clues align with the tool's mainland China profile. It does not establish identity, citizenship, physical location, eligibility, or a decision by Claude or any other service.
